Within those different categories there are hundreds of variables that will change the price as well such as Analog/Digital, Fixed/Pan Tilt Zoom, type of lens, image resolution, etc. It really depends on what you are planning to use it for in order to say which would be the "best" system to buy - just remember that analog cameras are technology that has been out for over 30 years and will give you a max resolution of around 640x480 pixels.
