Question by LawzoL: What can jam or interfere with a 5.8ghz wireless cctv camera?
Tested my new one last night, and all of a sudden, massive interference caused it to lose signal after around 20 minutes.
Could someone with ‘the know how’ purposely jam the camera?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Best answer:

Answer by JoelKatz
Someone could definitely purposely jam a 5.8GHz wireless camera, though 5.8GHz jammers are not as widely available as 900MHz and 2.4GHz jammers are. It can also be caused by other devices in the 5.8GHz spectrum. Changing the channel might help.
